Google Plus One is linked in with Google Social Search which helps users discover relevant content and information from your social connections on sites like, Google Reader, Google Buzz, Twitter and even your own Google Contacts.
So if you like a web page you might click the Google Plus One button which would show an anomous public +1 state (people would see the +1 count but not have access to know who’d clicked it).
